After taking Marianne Rodgers and Madame Masque to his secluded Arctic bunker, Iron Man returns to Avengers Mansion! Shell-Head immediately checks the mysterious door in the basement! And lo and behold it's open! And the nasty Neut is charging out! The golden avenger quickly engages the savage blue creature, but soon discovers that he's one tough customer! The invincible one better find a way to beat Neut or he won't reach the end of The Crossing! Meanwhile after escaping from Force Works headquarters; Hawkeye, Rhodey, and the U.S. Agent hide out in the California desert... waiting for an attack! Cameo appearances by Machinesmith, Luna, and Jarvis. Avengers Lineup: Black Widow, Crystal, Quicksilver, Vision, and the Wasp.
