Ice trolls use their innate connection to the elemental power of cold to create frozen javelins from thin air. They hurl these projectiles great distances to impale hapless warriors and pierce the flesh of warbeasts. Any who survive the impact die slower as icy javelins freeze their body from within.
The warlocks that focus on ranged combat, like The Hunter’s Grim (PIP 71070) or Captain Gunnbjorn (PIP 71045), can really make the Ice Troll shine. Combining the Ice Troll with the new Krielstone Elder (PIP 71115) specifically for the Northkin (+2 to Damage Type: Cold attacks) and the Rage (+3 Strength) animus from a Dire Troll Mauler (PIP 71058) can create a very powerful thrown spear. This all combines very nicely with the Glacier King (PIP 71094) in the same army.
Models are supplied unpainted and unassembled and may require trimming and cleaning before assembly and painting.
